Makes about 100 cookies

Ingredients
- 2 cups (4 sticks) of butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups of dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 4 cups of all-purpose white flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 12 ounces of chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees..
- Beat together the butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl and add it to the butter mixture. Mix thoroughly by hard. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop heaping teaspoons of dough onto the baking sheet about 1 1/2 inches apart. Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cookies are golden. Pay attention not to let the bottom of the cookies burn. Cool for 1 minute before removing onto a wired rack.
