Best Brownies

Yield: 12-15 brownies

Ingredients:


  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup nuts (optional)


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit. 
  2. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.
  3. Melt butter in a large saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa. Blend in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients and nuts if using. Pour batter into a greased 9x13in pan.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool.
